What
does covered for life mean? |
Our
pet insurance can cover injuries and illnesses for life.
This is important if your pet gets an on-going condition
like arthritis or eczema. Policies from other insurers
such as Tesco pet insurance and Direct Line pet insurance do not always offer this cover
and will stop paying out after 12 months, or offer a
maximum benefit, which only pays out a limited sum of
money per condition. With covered for life, there is
no limit on how long you can claim for each illness
or injury. All you have to do is renew the policy each
year and the full veterinary fees benefit is reinstated. |

Do
you need any notice to cancel my pet insurance policy? |
You
will have 14 days after you receive your policy terms
and conditions and Certificate of Insurance to consider
the full terms. If you are not happy and have made no
claims, we will cancel the insurance and give you a
refund. |

I apply for pet insurance, when does cover for my pet
begin? |
Cover
for injury starts as soon as we receive your application.
Cover for illness starts 28 days after your application
date which, will appear on your Certificate of Insurance. |

What
is a claim excess? |
A
claim excess is the amount that you will be required
to pay towards the cost of treating each illness or
injury during the period of your pet insurance cover
and is not related to any other illness or injury treated
during the same period of cover.

Are
there any age restrictions on starting a new pet insurance
policy? |
You can
insure your dog from 8 weeks to their 8th birthday, and your cat from 8 weeks to their 10th birthday. |

is the maximum payout per year? |
When

payouts for each category will be clearly listed. |

the end of the booking process you will be given an
policy number and full details on your policy. We will
